Full-time Project Manager/Telecom Specialist

S-Net Communications is a next generation VoIP communications company providing voice, data, and hosted application services to small and medium sized businesses throughout Chicagoland. We are currently hiring for a crucial role within our fast growing team. The Telecom Project Manager must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills are a must. Successful candidate must have Project Management skills and have a good grasp of the telecom industry. Candidate needs to be well organized and pay attention to detail.

Requirements:
• Understand and perform the essential functions in both manual and automated provisioning process in order to turn up customer’s T1 circuits, Voice service, Number Portability, Internet and MPLS data, Toll Free, and Directory Listing.

• Order internal infrastructure such as DS3’s, E911 trunks, local-in and local- out trunks.

• Responsible for interacting with customers, PBX vendors, outside sales agents and internal employees.

• Able to completely manage customer migration process from losing carrier to new carrier

• Perform basic troubleshooting when needed.


Responsibilities:
• Meeting with c-level executives and IT staff to determine customer requirements and specification

• Procuring customer turn-up information from LOA, Resporg, T1 circuit info, etc.

• Providing development team with feedback for future feature offerings

• Train customers on phone system features and capabilities

• Oversee deployment lifecycle – T1 circuit extension thru on-site deployment

Must have:
• 3+ years project management experience
• 2+ years experience with telecom (preferably VoIP)
• Ability to operate under deadlines and stress
• Great people verbal and written communication
