Job Title: Technology Acquisition Analyst
Location: Arlington, VA
Job Description:
Our client is charged with coordinating biometrics activities across the DoD, standardizing application of biometrics across the department, identifying and evaluating new technologies, establishing biometrics policy, and sustaining the DoD’s central biometrics repository. The Technology Acquisition Analyst provides on-site support to the Biometrics Task Force. This position is located in Crystal City, Virginia.
Essential Job Functions:
- Engages with a variety of stakeholders to transition technology into the field
- Define and document requirements
- Develop acquisition strategies
- Write acquisition plans and other planning documents
- Write solicitation documentation such as sections of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Scopes of Work (SOWs)
- Assess risks of contractor proposals
- Participate in the management of on-going contract efforts
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in systems acquisition
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition systems and processes.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools
- SECRET Clearance
