A well-established and innovative advertising software company is looking for an experienced Media Planner/Buyer to apply their expertise to help create Media Planning software products. This individual will be responsible for integrating with existing advertising software and potentially managing a new product line. Job Responsibilities:
# Utilize media planning and buying experience for the creation of a new software product – from initial requirement gathering to final application launch
# Act as the “media planning expert” on a product development team of technical and non-technical resources
# Create product specs, details and a software development roadmap based on media planning/buying current and future needs
# Work with technical team on layout, execution, review and implementation of media planning features and product enhancements
# Work with Advertising infrastructure software partners to integrate where necessary
# Responsible for overall conceptual design of application
# Provide product review and feedback; oversee change management
# Manage and track all steps of planning, development, QA and roll-out of software
# Conduct continuous research with agencies to make sure that software is met with client enthusiasm
# Help create product documentation and marketing materials for management as well as clients/users
# Keep current with market research and advertising industry to understand target market needs


Skills/Qualifications:
# A passion for media planning, buying and advertising
# Proven track-record planning and executing media plans
# 5+ years media planning experience, buying experience
# Experience planning Nationally and in Major Markets
# Experience using media planning/buying tools ( Workhorse, DDS, Atlas, Nielsen, @plan, Adrelevance, etc.)
# Bachelors Degree
# Advanced computer and technical skills; MS Office suite knowledge
# Ability to interface and work with technical team, as well as clients and business side
# Strong written and verbal communication skills
# Aptitude to multi-task effectively and excel in a very fast-paced and demanding environment
