Administrative Assistant – Marketing/New Business Development - $9 to $11/hr
Full service marketing & advertising company is currently hiring an Administrative Assistant who will be responsible for providing administrative and customer service/sales support. The ideal candidate will report directly to the President and be responsible for coordinating projects, schedules, customer service and tasks. The right candidate should enjoy working in a growing environment and be able to maintain composure and poise in demanding situations.
Job Description
• Provide administrative support and sales support.
• Utilize and maintain tasking system to direct future activities and ensure effective follow-up.
• Coordinate assignments for designers, contractors and management.
• Represent company services at industry trade shows.
• Customer follow up and sales.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
1. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and Social Media Applications
2. Strong writing skills for email, letters, etc. with proper grammar and spelling.
3. Maintain professional, friendly and courteous verbal and written communications.
4. Prefer candidates with significant experience in marketing and/or sales administration.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
6. The ability to work independently and stay on schedule.
7. A passion for seeing growth in yourself and the company you work with.
8. Strong communicator with the ability to maintain open communication with staff, managers and customers as needed.
9. Able to prioritize tasks and get results with an emphasis on quality. Success in this position will require excellent attention to detail and the ability to carry out multiple tasks in parallel.
This position does require travel in the United States from 0-2 times per month. This position will start as a part-time position (15-20 hours per week) and will grow into a full time position within 6 months.
