We are hiring a full time web designer and will only entertain interviews with individuals who meet our criteria.

You need to be a graphic designer as well as web designer. You’ll be working on an interactive web site design and should have a good understanding of interactive design principles, usability and online branding issues.

Take a look at rawvegas.tv for an example of what we’re looking for. This site will need modules and a back end for content managers to access. Be prepared to submit your online portfolio. Additionally, you will be given a task during the interview process to duplicate. Be prepared!

Some duties are listed below.

  • Oversee the design of the organization web site, making sure that a consistent look and feel is maintained.
  • Serve as art director for the visual and multimedia content of organization’s web sites. Develop and maintain the overall look and feel of our web sites.
  • Manage and design the creative aspect of web projects, including serving as an expert resource to organization staff involved in specific projects.
  • Design HTML templates and supporting graphics that are consistent with organization’s design standards.
  • Develop and maintain visual design guidelines for the web site ensuring that outside advertisements to placed on the web site meet organization standards.
  • Design graphical user interfaces for web-based applications.

Requirements: HTML, Dreamweaver (or equivalent), Photoshop and Flash. You must be a low maintenance person and a self starter. Able to meet critical deadlines and work unsupervised.
