Computer Technician
About Us:
We are Refresh Computers & Electronics, an electronics store serving the cost-conscious consumer in central Florida. We have two retail store locations in the Orlando area including one in Longwood on SR 434 and one by UCF near the intersection of University Boulevard and Alafaya Trail. We are currently expanding and looking for one Computer Technician to add to our team. It is our hope that you will take part in this exciting growth opportunity!
Position & Pay:
We are seeking one Computer Technician to assist us in both the warehouse and in one (or both) of our retail stores. This full-time position pays $9.00 per hour (40 hours per week). The candidate must be available to work between the hours of 10:00AM and 6:00PM Monday through Saturday. The store supervisor will determine a work schedule with the candidate at the time of hiring.
Job Responsibilities:
Sales Duties: Assist customers with questions or concerns. Assist customers locate the appropriate product for their needs. Create online ads to generate more retail store traffic.
Technical Duties: Assist customers with issues or repairs with their products. Recommend appropriate courses of action to resolve any technical issues. Repair customer’s products in a timely fashion providing them with necessary informational updates along the way. Other duties would include wiping and reinstalling operating systems, removing viruses, adding computer components such as modems, memory, hard drives, sound cards, etc.
General Duties: Responsible for balancing daily transactions, collecting payment and issuing receipts. Answer the phones and assist customers with informational assistance with directions, store hours, inventory check and product updates. May be responsible for opening the store in the morning and/or closing the store in the evening. Other general duties include assist within the warehouse as needed and maintain retail store appearance and cleanliness.

Previous related computer troubleshooting and repair experience is required
Previous board-level (soldering and circuitry) work is a plus
Previous repair work on printers, PDAs, and LCD monitors is a plus
A+ Certification is required
The store operating hours will be Monday through Saturday 10:00AM-6:00PM.
