Administrative Assistant

Join a growing, dynamic division of an established wholesale company! We are seeking a full-time and highly motivated administrative and marketing assistant.
High-energy and a positive personality are a must. The successful candidate must be innovative, dedicated and hard working. She or he must be able to work independently and as a team, self motivate and solve problems, as well as follow directions and implement decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Creating documents, spreadsheets and proposals
2. Interacting with customers and vendors
3. Answering and routing phone calls
4. Assisting in the preparation of marketing materials
5. Assisting in basic accounting and inventory management
6. Arranging travel itineraries
7. Providing creative and practical input for new product development and marketing
8. Preparing sales reports and reporting to company executives
SKILLS:
1. Two or more years of administrative experience (marketing experience a plus)
2. Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
3. Positive outlook and energetic attitude
4. Strong communications skills
5. Detail oriented and organized
6. Internet savvy
7. Ability to multitask and work with limited supervision
8. Proficiency in English (foreign languages a plus)
9. AA or Bachelor degree a plus
10. Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign a plus
