Internship Coordinator

Busy, intensive, International English language school seeking energetic, enthusiastic internship coordinator. A part-time position of 15 hours per week is available. Must have a BA or BS degree, TEFL certificate and previous ESL experience preferred. M.A. TESOL a plus. Looking for a candidate who will teach 6 week internship courses which includes knowledge of teaching grammar, writing resumes, and communication skills,. Duties include:
• Recruits suitable companies to provide work placements. These companies should be personally visited.
• Interviews prospective Internship students and assess their suitability in conjunction with the Academic Department.
• Liaises with companies and students to arrange interviews & placements.
• Liaises with Director of Studies to arrange lessons for internship students.
• Monitors attendance of students to internship lessons.
• Monitors students’ progress during internships.
• Arranges external lecturers and study visits.
• Accompanies students on study visits outside school.
• Administers the procedures for validation of the internship program.
• Liaises with sales offices regarding information about the program and student issues.
• Organizes & attends post-internship feedback presentation sessions with students.
• Assists with Internship presentations and production of Internship Newsletter for sales purposes.
