Production Associate

Inhabit, a contemporary home furnishings company, is seeking candidates for a production position. Job will be flex hours ranging from 28-40 hrs per week. Come be part of the team that is creating products that are being used in the Palms Hotel/Casino, W Hotels and at the Sundance Film Festival to name a few. Our products are also featured in programs on MTV, NBC and HGTV and featured in the pages of high profile magazines and newspapers worldwide.

Job Description:
Duties could include picking and packing of orders, cutting and dye sublimation of printing of fabrics used in assembling of pillows & stretched canvases. Work with a production team to fill orders by specified dates with efficiency and accuracy. Use production equipment including large format printers, rotary heat presses, and pneumatic staple guns. Sewing skills a major plus but not required.
Knowledge and Abilities Required:
1. At least 1 year experience in production (sign shop, furniture, Sewing workroom, upholstery or photo lab)
2. Sewing skills a plus but not required.
3. High attention to detail.
4. good attitude, quick and eager to learn and responds well to constructive criticism and coaching.
5. Ability to work successfully with deadlines.
6. Multi-tasking required. Multiple steps are required in building each product.
7. Follows instructions of supervisor, but able to work on own.
8. Self motivator who enjoys the responsibilities and advantages of working in a small team.
Must be able to stand for entire shift and lift 50 lbs. A math and measuring test will be required prior to employment.
