Part-time Content Development Manager for Certification Exam Projects

GrandMasters is a Bellevue, Washington company focused on providing the best in IT consulting and content development services. We are a fast growing, dynamic company and we are seeking a Content Development Manager to join our team.

Position Description:

The Content Development Manager (CDM) will work with various teams of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop technical certification exams for one of our major Clients. The CDM is responsible for reviewing all technical content created by the SMEs for structure, clarity, and conformity to customer standards. The certification exams will focus on numerous Microsoft technologies.

You must excel at collaborating closely with a content development team, as well as a product team, and content stakeholders. You must be a flexible self-starter with a sharp focus on shipping high-quality customer-driven content and a desire to continually improve the content. You will help define and instruct others in writing styles. Your expertise in client/server technologies, and networking should be strong. Experience with Windows Server 2008 technologies is preferable.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communications, Journalism, English or related field preferred.
• 5+ years work related experience required.
• Must have excellent writing, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Must be extremely detail oriented.
• Must have ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with highly technical people.
• Must be dedicated to outstanding customer service and have the ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Must have a strong talent for organizing/managing people and tasks.
• Must be adaptable to changing project requirements.
• Must have the ability to conduct meetings of six or more people which last up to eight hours per day.
• A technical background is preferred but deep technical expertise is not required.
• The ability to work under deadline pressure is required. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Local to the Puget Sound area.
• Must be available for evening conference calls with team members and some weekend work.
