Position: Payroll / HR Admin
Location: Houston, TX
Salary: Commensurate with experience
OUR CLIENT is seeking a Payroll / HR Admin with the following qualifications:
An oil services company seeks a Payroll/ HR Admin (“HR Admin”). The HR Admin will report directly to the Director of HR. This person will be responsible for handling HR paperwork, inputting timesheets in system, and processing payroll in ADP. This position compiles payroll data to maintain payroll records and provides administrative support to one or more functional areas of human resources.
Minimum requirements:
• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer literate
• Good organizational skills
• Good interpersonal, verbal, written skills
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Compiles payroll data such as hours worked from time sheets and other records.
• Assists employees with direct deposit forms and W4 forms.
• Prepares periodic reports of regular, overtime, holiday, vacation, sick and differential shift hours.
• Assist with auditing of bi-weekly payroll
• Acts as communicator of HR and Payroll related information as necessary.
Processes a variety of complex applications, employment, enrollment, pay change, information, security and other confidential documents
• Responsible for payroll input, reconciliation and maintenance as required
• Prepares various reports as required
