Apparel design/ manufacturing company in downtown Los Angeles is looking for a smart, hard working intern with design ambition and a creative eye.
Need someone to help organize, run sample lines from start to finish, and assist with anything and everything! Great opportunity to get your foot in the door of the fashion industry. Will learn about the development process from beginning stages through production. Perfect starting point for anyone who aspires to be a creative designer, technical designer or to work in production. Endless potential to learn and grow and possibly even evolve into a full time assistant position.
This is fast paced environment. Clerical work will be involved, as well as very hands-on work. Will involve physically seeing through samples, i.e., dying, printing, etc in a factory environment. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Photoshop and Illustrator skills a major plus. Must be willing and able to run around and hustle as well as sit in front a computer.
