Director of Marketing

An established and growing healthcare practice with multiple offices in Southern California is in need of a Director of Marketing. This is a new position and is a great opportunity for someone who has experience building and maintaining solid marketing programs and teams.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Director of Marketing to manage field marketers, traditional media and interactive media campaigns. The candidate should have experience creating and managing marketing campaigns in the healthcare marketplace. We are seeking someone who is up to date with the latest offline and online marketing trends in healthcare.
The ideal candidate will have a combination of brand management, marketing communications, planning and project management expertise and will oversee all aspects of marketing, advertising and public relations. Responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans and strategies to achieve growth; managing cost-effective marketing communications and public relations that attract new patients, retain present patients and improve relations with physicians and staff; and creating and developing marketing/communication materials.
In collaboration with key management, this person will manage our brandsite and lead traffic through SEO and SEM strategies. The position is accountable for the creation and delivery of reporting and analytics to support improved decision making.
Job Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of marketing experience, healthcare experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or healthcare marketing experience
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing campaigns
- Experience developing collateral materials including brochures, patient forms and internal forms
- Experience managing a field marketing team
- Experience with SEO and SEM strategies
- Experience writing persuasive search friendly content
- Ability to create, analyze and communicate site analytics and performance metrics
- Experience with content management systems, web page design and UI issues
