Concierge / Front Desk Assistant
We are seeking a professional Front Desk Assistant to provide support to the residents of a large, upscale high-rise condo building in Downtown San Diego. This person will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to the residents of the building and for general upkeep, maintenance, and resident activities.
Duties:
• Greet all residents, visitors, and vendors in person.
• Monitor and log all visitors and vendors, including the signing in and out of vendors, real estate agents, housekeepers, and other service providers.
• Schedule move-ins and move-outs, deliveries, and contractor activities.
• Determine the needs of residents, guests, and vendors, and communicate/coordinate delivery of services, products, packages, laundry, and mail distribution.
• Assist residents in making reservations for travel (including car service), restaurants, hotel accommodations, and special event tickets.
• Assist residents in locating and arranging services, including IT, resident utilities, cable and phone connections, domestic service, floral delivery, car wash and detail, and laundry and tailoring services.
• Maintain database and files to track key fobs, bike room access, guest parking, leases, license plates, and logging of unusual events, injuries, or accidents.
• Coordinate events for residents to enjoy in a group setting.
• Fax, file, copy.
• Answer phones in a professional manner.
Job Requirements:
• Related experience in a 4 or 5 star hospitality field preferred.
• High School diploma required.
• Fluent English verbal and written skills. Conversational Spanish a plus.
• Must have a valid California driver’s license.
• Proficient with a variety of database management and software applications, including MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Must have the ability to wear a professional suit at all times.
Compensation for this position is $12-14 per hour, DOE.
