Office Manager
at Company in Sacramento, CA
A small cleaning company is seeking a self-directed/self starting office manager to assist with daily operations. This is an approximate 30 to 40 hour position. Hours are typically Monday-Friday 9am to 3:30pm with a 30 minute lunch with extra hours as needed. However, for the right person flexibility of hours is a possibility. Sales experience is preferred. Service industry (auto, heating and air, plumbing, janitorial, etc.) and scheduling experience required. QuickBooks is mandatory. Please, if you don't know QB backwards and forwards do not email!
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Answer multi-line phone
Manage daily scheduling of independent contractors
Provide excellent client service and sales via telephone. Eventually making field sales calls to potential clients. No cold calling required.
Assist with account receivables
Copying, filing, faxing, emailing
Manage weekly calendar
Manage and order supplies
Correspond with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
Light office cleaning duties
Employer may require other duties as
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
A minimum of two years’ clerical experience in office reception/general office support.
Microsoft Office experience including Excel, Word, Publisher and Outlook.
Accounts receivable/payable experience.
Proficient in QuickBooks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage time.
Must be able to routinely follow written and verbal instructions.
Time management skills with the ability to multi- task and prioritize tasks.
Ability to work independently.
Attention to detail and well organized.
Basic math skills.
Able to perform in a fast-paced rapid-fire work environment.
Cell phone with text capabilities preferred.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
