Full-time Accounting Assistant / Office Manager

A growing CPA firm is looking for an Accounting Assistant / Office Manager. The ideal candidate is an up-beat individual who is able to multitask, answer phones, respond to voice messages, emails, and faxes in a timely and professional manner, is highly organized and detail oriented, and a self-starter. The person who fits this job is open to learning and loves to be busy and is looking for an excellent growth opportunity. Training in income tax preparation will be offered in the future to the right candidate.

Individual must be personable with great phone etiquette. Confidentiality is very important. Hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Pay starts at $12.50 per hour and will increase as you grow with the company.

Requirements for this position include:

Good organization skills
Accurate keyboarding skills at 50 WPM or more
10 key
Accurate filing
Professional business letter writing
Pleasant phone voice
Precise data entry *Some previous accounting experience would be very beneficial.

Background check is mandatory and References will be requested.
