SAFETY MANAGER

ProService is looking for a Safety Manager to successful build and manage a best in class safety program that provides safety services to over 900 clients in all of Hawaii’s major industries. You must have excellent interpersonal skills, able to provide safety training courses on various safety topics, and provide clients clear guidance on resolving and preventing safety hazards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a robust safety program that successfully reduces workplace injuries across ProService’s entire client base.
Manage success of safety team through goal settings, review of performance metrics and leadership by example.
Conduct safety trainings, site inspections and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with OSHA and HIOSH standards.
Assist clients with regulatory compliance issues.
Meet with prospective clients to successfully convey the value of ProService’s safety program.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 5+ years of safety management experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills including the ability to translate complex safety requirements into meaningful action to our clients.
Consultative problem solving skills.
OHSA 500 certification.
Working knowledge of OSHA/HIOSH laws
Knowledge of EM385 preferred
CPA/First Aid and Forklift instructor certification desired
Previous Workers Comp program administration preferred.
