Everyone will agree that we are in very difficult economic times. The majority of we, the shareholders of the global economy, did not see this coming and were caught off-guard. Many companies have vanished almost overnight. Many people's livelyhoods have disappeared.
Many of the people using this site are these people. We want to do something to help you out, and that's why we created longsoxx-jobs.com. While another part of our site is a used college textbook exchange, this is a job board. We have made it fast-loading because we know you don't have time to waste on slow-loading scripts. We have also removed the requirement that you create an account to use the board. Who has time to do that? And editing details? You're wasting hours of your time. Here, all you need is your name and email address and resume and you can apply. And if you are still in college or looking for an internship, we have those too. Get your foot in the door while you can.
What is the benefit to the employer looking to hire? Now they no longer have to pay absurd amounts to post their job postings. That money can buy them some time or end up in your paycheck. Also, the employer can specify where the applicant's information will be sent do be it their own email address or a dedicated email address. You may also copy a prewritten ad (in Word, for instance) right into our editor if you have a design you favor. Our posting process has been simplified to save you time. Speed and efficiency were two hallmarks we kept in mind designing this site.
